Vibe Usage Quote/0: AI Coding Usage Dashboard
Turn cloud-based Vibe Usage data into a Quote/0 Canvas dashboard that refreshes on your desktop.
Vibe Usage Quote/0 reads real AI coding usage recorded by Vibe Usage and displays Tokens, cost, sessions, active time, and the leading tool and model on Quote/0 through the Dot Canvas API. Its primary and secondary areas can use independent reporting periods, making it useful for tracking both today's activity and longer-term usage from your desk.
Features
- Complete usage summary: Shows Tokens, cost, sessions, active time, and the leading tool and model
- Two time windows: Configures the primary and secondary areas independently for today, 24 hours, 7, 30, or 90 days, any N-day range, or custom dates
- Matching totals: Uses the same total-Token definition as the Vibe Usage web dashboard, including cached input Tokens
- Privacy-conscious screen: Does not send project names to Quote/0
- Native Canvas output: Discovers Canvas API content on the device and asks you to choose when multiple canvases exist
- Cross-platform refresh: Supports macOS launchd, Linux systemd user timers, and Windows Task Scheduler
- Render verification: Waits for render metadata or image content to change instead of treating an HTTP 2xx response alone as success
Requirements
- Node.js 20 or later
- A Vibe Usage account and API Key; an existing local login can usually be reused
- A Dot API Key and Quote/0 device ID
- Canvas API content added to the device loop in Dot. App Content Studio
- An awake and online Quote/0 during delivery
Install vibe-usage-quote0 globally and run vibe-usage-quote0 enable. The interactive setup validates both Vibe time windows and Dot credentials, selects the target canvas, protects the local configuration, performs one real push, and installs a 30-minute refresh task for the current platform.
Today and 24H
today covers local midnight in the current system timezone through now;
24h is a continuously rolling 24-hour window. Either can be assigned to the
primary or secondary area.
Credentials and runtime
Use enable for persistent credentials. Do not place real API Keys in command
arguments, shell profiles, scripts, or the repository. Automatic refresh on
Linux requires a working systemd user session. If the device is offline,
asleep, or its state cannot be confirmed, the client stops before sending the
Canvas request.
