Timer

Timer gives you a simple way to give a task a beginning, an ending, or a little more time without reaching for your phone.

Start a Timer

1. Open Timer and long press the bottom button.
2. On the first use, choose Count up or Countdown.
3. For a countdown, choose a duration from 5 to 95 minutes in 1-minute steps, then long press the bottom button to start.
4. Count up starts immediately from 00:00 and runs until it reaches 95:00.

After you have saved a setup, choose Repeat last to use the previous mode and duration, or choose Set new time to configure it again.

While the Timer Is Running

• Short press the top or bottom button to view a static time snapshot. Short press either button again to return to the status view.
• While running, long press the bottom button to pause.
• While paused, long press the bottom button to open Resume or Exit.
• Long press the top button at any time to leave Timer and return to the More folder.

Sounds and Locking

When sound is enabled, a running Timer plays alternating tick and tock sounds. A countdown reaching zero or a count-up reaching its limit plays a completion alert. The first button press during the alert silences it.

A running or paused timer is not stopped by the normal sleep timeout. Leaving Timer, restarting the device, or losing power ends the timer; it will not resume automatically.
