Getting started
You need macOS 14 or later, a Quote/0 connected to the internet and external power, and Claude Code or Codex. Apple silicon and Intel Macs are supported, as are the desktop apps and command-line tools.
- Add Image API to the device's loop in the Dot. App Content Studio.
- Download and install the Mac app from Releases.
- Enter a Dot. API key, choose a device, and send a test frame. Agent status updates apply to conversations started after installation.
See the README for setup and uninstall instructions. The app installs agent hooks and starts at login, backing up configuration files before changing them.
Limitations
Keep Quote/0 connected to external power. On battery, the screen updates only when the device wakes on its schedule. When the computer is offline or the cloud service is unavailable, the last frame remains. The app and display currently use Chinese only.
Quota availability depends on the agent's sign-in state, version, and plan. After you approve a request, its alert may remain until the command finishes. Rendered frames travel through MindReset's cloud service; conversation names can be hidden in settings.
