Quote/0 Desktop Status combines third-party firmware with a local status service. It rotates between desktop metrics, Cursor Agent activity, Minecraft server information, and a custom cover image on Quote/0.

Features

  • Desktop status: Shows CPU, memory, local IP address, and Cursor Agent state
  • Minecraft information: Shows the server MOTD, online count, and player list
  • Custom cover: Adds any uploaded image to the rotation
  • Local discovery: Lets the device find and retrieve the next frame from a computer over Wi-Fi
  • Configuration and firmware tools: Includes a Windows launcher and a standalone Linux status service
  • Power-aware polling: Turns Wi-Fi off after receiving a frame and reconnects after the configured interval

Requirements

The Windows path requires Python 3.11+. Linux can run the Python status service separately. Allow the project's TCP and UDP ports through the host firewall, and configure the device with the computer's LAN address.

Third-party firmware

This project replaces the stock Quote/0 firmware. Back up your own device and read the restore instructions first. Do not use localhost as the device's server address, and do not publish files containing credentials or stock firmware. This is a community project and is not affiliated with MindReset.
