How to Change Networks
When the device is online
When the device is online, you can add a new Wi-Fi network directly in the Dot. App.
Select the device and open Device Info
Select the device in the Dot. App and open Device Info.
Tap Wireless Network
Tap Wireless Network.
Add Wi-Fi to the list
Add your Wi-Fi network to the Wi-Fi list.
After you add it, the device saves the new network configuration and can use an available network when it connects.
When the device is offline
If the device cannot connect to its current network, use the web tool to reset its network configuration, then set it up again in the Dot. App.
Connect the Device to the Web Tool
Use a data-capable cable to connect the device to your computer
Ensure the cable you use supports data transfer, not just charging. If no device appears in the pop-up window, it's usually because the cable only supports charging. We recommend using the original cable or another cable that supports data transfer.
After ensuring a stable connection between the device and computer, click "Connect Device"
The web tool is compatible with Chromium-based browsers such as Arc, Chrome, Edge, and 360 Browser. Do not use on mobile devices or in-app browsers.
Select your device in the pop-up window
If no device is available in the pop-up window
Please ensure the device is connected to the computer via data cable. If no device is still available, try changing the cable or the computer's port and try again.
Reset the Network and Pair Again
Tap "Reset Network" below. After the device screen changes, use the Dot. App to pair the device with a network again.
If the screen does not change, try disconnecting, refreshing the page, and reconnecting before attempting the operation again.
